PayPal Information
PayPal is an easy way for you to use your credit card to pay for Club Dues etc. If you have never used PayPal, here's (roughly) what you do:1. Go to the PayPal Website (www.paypal.com).
2. Sign up for a free PayPal account. Have your Credit Card in hand.
You'll be given an ID and password so be sure you save these off somewhere in case you forget them.
Once you're a 'member' of PayPal, you can use them to send a payment, or receive a payment, from anyone on the internet. You'll find that this won't be the only time you'll use them.
In order to send a payment to Sonoma Wings, you'll need an email address for whoever you're sending the money to. Use our Treasurer's email address:

So the next steps in the process would be:
(assuming you're logged into PayPal)
3. click on the "Send Money" tab near the top of the screen.
4. fill in the form fields:
- Recipient's email: mattsflyin@aol.com
- Amount: whatever
- Type: service
- Subject: Sonoma Wings Dues (or whatever)
- Note: a love note to Matt ;-)
5. Click the "continue" button, and continue on.
that's about it.
A few notes: 1. You can think of PayPal as an on-line checking account. You can put in money at any time. Then you can "send money" at any time. You are even paid interest on the money you've "deposited".
2. Normally, Jon James keeps track of the Coffee Can. When you PayPal to Matt, he'll write your name on a fiver and send it along to Jon.
