Saint John Landing Maps
These maps should help you learn where NOT to land on the way from launch to the LZ by East Park Reservoir.
ALERT! As of 6/1/01 The Dolphin LZ (and all of
East Park Reservoir) is OFF LIMITS!
The county enacted a law prohibiting any flying activity over the
Bureau of Reclamation property, which includes the reservoir.
Do Not land at the Reservoir!
Sonoma Wings is working on this issue. We'll let you know if there
is any change.
The Red areas are: Do Not Land.  Please respect the landowner's wishes.  You may be cited for trespassing.
The Yellow areas are: Limited Out Landings Tolerated.  The key word here is "tolerated".  These landowners understand that conditions don't always allow us to reach our desired goal at the lake.  They tolerate an occasional out landing on their property.  Please don't abuse their good will toward us.
Unshaded areas are unknown.
The boundaries of the areas depicted on these maps and photos are approximate indications of the properties involved. They are not carved in stone. Property owners can change their minds. Before you fly here, please contact a Sonoma Wings representative to get the latest information.
